What is a lab-grown diamond?
Lab-grown diamonds are created in a laboratory using advanced technology. They possess essentially the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as natural diamonds.
The main difference is how they are formed. One grows naturally beneath the earth, while the other is grown in a laboratory.
What does gold K mean?
Gold K (karat) indicates the gold content in the metal.
For example, 18K gold contains a higher percentage of gold compared to 9K.
Gold K (karat) indicates the gold content in the metal.
• 9K gold contains about 37.5% gold
• 14K gold contains about 58.5% gold
• 18K gold contains about 75% gold
• 24K gold contains about 99.9% gold
Different karats may have slight differences in color and tone, depending on the gold content and alloy mix. Higher karat means a higher gold content.
Will silver piece it fade or tarnish?
Our sterling silver pieces are finished with a 2-micron layer of gold plating, a thicker finish chosen to improve durability and help the plating last longer with everyday wear.
Like all gold-plated 925 sterling silver jewelry, the plating will gradually wear over time and may eventually fade or tarnish with regular use. This is a normal characteristic of plated jewelry and is influenced by factors such as exposure to water, perfume, alcohol, sweat, and other chemicals.
With proper care, these changes can be slowed. If needed, the jewelry can be professionally cleaned or replated to restore its appearance.
Do all pieces come with a diamond identification card?
A diamond identification card is included with selected designs, such as pieces featuring larger total diamond weights.
For jewelry with smaller accent diamonds, a card is typically not provided.
What is 2 Micron Gold Plating?
Gold plating is measured in microns, which refers to the thickness of the gold layer applied over Sterling Silver 925.
Our gold-plated pieces are finished with 2-micron gold plating. Compared with standard plating, the thicker gold layer helps improve durability and maintain the colour for longer with proper care.
To extend the life of your jewellery, we recommend avoiding water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals.
Not sure which metal to choose? Both are designed for everyday wear, the right choice simply depends on your lifestyle and preference.
Sterling Silver 925 vs Solid Gold
Sterling Silver 925
Our sterling silver pieces are made from Sterling Silver 925 and are available in Silver or 14K Gold Plating. They offer an accessible starting point for building your jewellery collection while giving you the flexibility to explore different colours and styles.
To improve durability, every plated piece is finished with 2-micron gold plating, providing longer-lasting colour and better wear than standard plating.
Solid Gold
Our solid gold pieces are made from 9K Gold throughout and are available in Yellow Gold, White Gold, and Pink Gold. Because the colour comes from the gold itself, no plating is required.
If you're looking for a piece you'll wear and keep for years to come, Solid Gold is a timeless choice designed to stay with you for the long run.
